No need for multiple CD drives in the form of CD Towers or the like. A small office with 10 or fewer concurrent image accesses on the CDV PC will do just fine with a Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional as its operating system There is no client license or software to be installed on network PCs. Just map a drive to the shared folder of managed images and the PC is ready to access the files. CDV is designed to provide access to program, data, and image files provided on CDs and DVDs. It is not designed to circumvent copy protection on CDs and will not image audio CDs or movie DVDs. You can download a demo of CDV by filling in the feedback form on the website. Virtuals (CDV) is an easy to use application for managing CD images
to be shared on peer-to-peer and domain networks. The only limit to its
use is the amount of space available on the hard drive of the host
computer. You can increase the number of managed images by 10 into the
thousands.
